Abstract:

It is well known that hypertension is a major risk factor for stroke.Secondary prevention guides at home and abroad are recommended by strict control of blood pressure to reduce the risk of stroke. In recent years, with the wide application of the 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, the influence of blood pressure variability on the prognosis of patients with stroke was paid more attention. But so far, the best blood pressure level, blood pressure circadian rhythm and morning peak blood pressure with the prognosis of stroke in ischemic stroke pationes are unclear. The concept and classification of blood pressure variability, the judgment standard of blood pressure variability, and the clinical significance of pathological blood pressure variability, the relationship between blood pressure variation and ischemic stroke, the influence of different antihypertensive drugs on blood pressure variability are reviewed on the basis of literature at home and abroad.

Key words: Stroke, Blood pressure variability, Prognosis
