Application of critical ultrasound in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation

Abstract:

Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) is a part of the extracorporeal circulation technology which can be used for a long time.As an emergency aid, it is used in the rescue of patients with acute respiratory and circulatory failure.ECMO lasts from hours to weeks.Critical ultrasound as the eyes of the doctor in ICU, which play an important role in the whole treatment of the ECMO.
