Tracing the correlation between heart and body fluid metabolism in Huangdi Neijing and its clinical diagnostic significance

Abstract:

On the operation of water fluid metabolism in the body, most of the ancient and modern physicians consider it′s related to the metabolic functions of spleen, lung and kidney to transform, transport and transmit the water.While, few of them have mentioned that heart also plays an important role.This article traced and analyzed the correlation between heart and body fluid metabolism in Huangdi Neijing from the aspects of the physiological characteristics and functions of heart, and the relation between heart and other organs, aiming to better understand the relationship between water metabolism and heart, and to guide clinical diagnosis and treatment.
