Abstract:

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common endocrine disorder that affects the physical and reproductive health of women. The main diagnostic criteria of PCOS are sparse menstruation, amenorrhea or irregular uterine bleeding, clinical manifestation of hyperandrogen or hyperandrogenemia, and polycystic ovary change. In clinical practice, the traditional diagnostic methods have some limitations, so it is urgent to introduce new auxiliary diagnostic indicators. Recent studies have shown that anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) is closely related to the pathophysiological development of PCOS, and it is closely related to follicular development and endocrine hormone levels. As a new biochemical index for the diagnosis of PCOS, AMH shows many advantages. Conventional hormone detection combined with AMH detection has important reference value for the diagnosis and evaluation of PCOS. In this paper, the research progress of AMH on the diagnostic value of PCOS is reviewed.
