Abstract:

Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a heterogeneous, inflammatory, musculoskeletal disease associated with psoriasis. PsA is aggressive. Early diagnosis and timely intervention are of great significance for slowing down course of the disease and improving the quality of life of patients. In recent years, with the improvement of the resolution and image quality of the ultrasound probe, high-frequency ultrasound is more and more widely used in the screening and diagnosis of a variety of peripheral joint diseases, so clinicians pay more attention to it. The author summarizes the literatures about high-frequency ultrasound in PsA research, and describes the latest research progress of its application in PsA diagnosis, in order to guide clinical practice.
