Abstract:
The teaching model of problem-based learning (PBL) has been carried out in the training of medical students for many years, and has been valued by medical colleges and universities nationwide. The PBL model adopts the " round table" mode to discuss a certain case, which exercises and improves the students′ critical thinking ability, organizational ability, the capability to deal with clinical problems and doctor-patient relationship. Meanwhile, it subtly combines the multi-disciplinary theoretical knowledge with clinical practice, and cultivates the students′ humanistic spirit. However, the PBL model also faces many challenges and problems, such as low discipline positioning, insufficient quantitative evaluation system, uneven case quality, etc. This paper combines the current teaching practice to share the thoughts and suggestions of teachers and students.
