Abstract:

Objective

To integrate the humanistic teaching model into the teaching of medical imaging diagnostics courses, and explore the construction and application effects of humanistic teaching models.

Methods

A total of 100 students majoring in medical imaging technology from Quanzhou Medical College in grade 2022 were selected and divided into experimental group (n=48) and control group (n=52) by drawing lots. The experimental group was taught in humanistic teaching mode, while the control group was taught in traditional teaching mode. The theoretical assessment results and mutual assessment scores of the 2 groups were compared, and questionnaire surveys on the experimental group students were conducted, and their satisfaction was analyzed.

Results

The theoretical scores of the experimental group [(81.73±3.19)scores] was higher than that of the control group [(75.54±2.68)scores], and the peer evaluation scores of the experimental group [(89.19±2.67)scores] was higher than that of the control group[(74.02±8.21)scores], with statistically significant differences (t=5.25, 7.41, all P<0.01). The results of the questionnaire showed that 83.33% (40/48) of the students were satisfied with the teaching effect that humanistic elements can be brought into the mind, and 97.92% (47/48) of the students were satisfied with the teaching effect of the humanistic teaching mode in enhancing the sense of teamwork.

Conclusion

The humanistic teaching mode of medical imaging diagnostics course with humanistic care can improve the learning effect and humanistic quality of medical students, and it is worth further popularization.
