Abstract:
With the rapid development of Chinese economy and the reform and opening-up policies, the number of international students, especially students who major in clinical medicine, has been increasing year by year. Recently, in the field of medical education, considerable interest is being directed toward improving the quality of education for international students in China. We summarize and analyze the experience of diagnostics and internal medicine practice and teaching for international students in West China School of Medicine, Sichuan University. The purpose of this paper is to explore the methods of teaching management and quality assurance system construction of internal medicine for international students, and to provide references for the medical education of international medical students in China.
